My first post

Hi all out there in cyberspace!

I'm Vanessa and I'm new to this blogging thing.

I've worked with thousands of people over the past 20 or so and I always hear that I am a 'unique HR person'. It would seem that I am one of few HR people who talk in business terms and in a straightforward manner about real people issues.

I feel that I have two missions:

1. As a HR expert, bring common sense, practical HR knowledge to the world, or at
least Australia (both strategically and operationally) and

2. As a life and executive coach, inspire growth, insight, learning and
self-development to enable all people to achieve their highest potential

I will try and think up lots of stuff to discuss. If you have any questions, please post them and I'll do my best to answer them!
